A tour dedicated to the magnificent Cilento. We will start from the exploration of the famous Castelcivita Caves, which are hidden inside the National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano, a protected area with a great naturalistic value. This karst caves represent one of the most important speleological site of Italy, and show a suggestive scenery made of tunnels, wide spaces and bottlenecks excavated by the millennial karst corrosive action.
The tour will proceed to reach Padula. We will have a lunch break based on typical products from Cilento in an agritourism, and after we will visit St. Lorenzo Charterhouse, the biggest Charterhouse in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe, which has been declared UNESCO world heritage of humanity. The monastery has the biggest cloister in the world, covering about 12,000 m²!
